Angela was so helpful during those few postpartum weeks. I was so overwhelmed, stressed, and tired. I was so grateful for her soothing, maternal energy to calm the chaos. She even entertained my toddler!

  • “My birth didn’t go as planned, but I’m honestly so grateful Angela was there to support me through all of it. She stayed with me every step of the way, and even afterward she took the time to help me process everything — I didn’t expect to need that as much as I did. Birth is a lot to take in, and she really held space for me.

She was there for every text and call, talking me through my early labor questions and reassuring me when I needed it. It was such a comfort knowing she’d be there for both me and my husband. He even said he was surprised by how much we needed her and how often we leaned on her.

Angela cared for us in every way — emotionally, educationally, physically, and even spiritually. I loved that she explained things clearly, answered all our questions, and made us feel so at peace leading up to the birth. Her presence was grounding in a way I can’t fully describe.

During the birth, she was unbelievably helpful. She was so gentle, calming, and intuitive — she always seemed to know exactly what I needed without me having to say anything. And when our plans had to change, she guided us through that with so much steadiness.

Even just having her there to witness such a huge moment in our lives felt incredibly comforting. We’re so thankful she was part of our birth story.”

  • Angela was our doula for the birth of our son and I don’t think we realized how much we truly needed her. She was absolutely WONDERFUL from start to finish. I could probably write a whole page of how valuable her presence was during our labor and birth and recovery. She has this amazing quality of knowing just what to do in any scenario and jumping in and doing it. She doesn't sit there and pelt you with questions of what you would like. She just DOES it and during the long, often difficult process of labor, not having to think and having someone just instinctively know what to do to be helpful for you is priceless. If you don’t like something she is doing, she quickly changes gears and moves on to something that is more helpful for you. Every person and birth experience is different and she just goes with the flow and is there for you 100%.

Another huge quality of Angela, is her ability to advocate for her client. She is not afraid to step in and ask the medical team questions and hold ground for what YOU want for your birth. She does this in a completely respectful way, but does not waver in her commitment to you and your baby (and your husband). She gives as much or as little as you need. She was able to give me intensive hands-on care when I needed it and then space as we needed it. She gave my husband respite when he needed a break as well.

Angela also helped so much after the birth. I had complications which warranted a transfer to the hospital after the birth and she was right there every step of the way, helping with the transition for the 3 of us and making sure we got all settled at the hospital. Finally, I would just like to point out a God-given gift that she has and that is her gentle and calming presence. What an invaluable gift to have during the intense, physical and mental challenge of labor. She keeps everybody calm and collected and is extremely reassuring. I could rave more, but you absolutely could not go wrong having Angela be a part of you labor and birth. Like I said, I didn't know how much we truly NEEDED her. In hind sight, I don’t think we could have walked that road without her, and I could not recommend her more as a doula.

  • Angela was the breath of air our family needed to survive the post-partum phase with twin six-month-olds and a toddler. I was at my wits end when she came to our aid. Her calm, reassuring energy brought peace and levity to our chaotic house and her ability to listen deeply and validate the difficulty of my experience in parenting three kids two and under helped me calm my nervous system and find more joy in motherhood.

For me, one of the hardest parts about being an exhausted mother was needing help, but being too overwhelmed to know what to ask for. Angela intuitively “read the room” and jumped in wherever it was most helpful - whether that was giving my toddler quality one-on-one time, tidying up the kitchen, organizing the toy closet or helping to rock one of my babies to sleep. She was also the only person — besides my husband and myself — who could get my colicky twin to fall asleep!

Angela is excellent with children of all ages and a true nurturing soul to kids and parents alike. I am eternally grateful for her help!

  • “Angela is just… one of those people you instantly feel comfortable with. She has this warm, steady way about her, and you can tell she genuinely cares. She paid attention to the little things, was ready to jump in to help, but also ready with the tissues when I needed reassurance. She helped me feel better about all the transitions. I couldn’t always do all the things I wanted to do with my baby, so I was so glad to have her there to step in when I needed a break. And I totally trusted her. I felt really cared for — not just as a new mom, but as a person. Having her around made such a difference.”

  • “Angela moves through the world with a kind of serenity. There’s a spaciousness to her presence. She has a deep capacity to love. I felt like I could exhale the moment she walked in the door. She offers her attention so generously and tenderly. Angela cared for me with the same devotion she showed my baby, and that meant so much to me while I was recovering from birth.”
