The Healing Power of Infant Massage: A Gentle Beginning for You and Your Baby

The Healing Power of Infant Massage: A Gentle Beginning for You and Your Baby

Bringing a baby into the world is a profound experience—but it’s not always easy. Whether your little one arrived early, came to you through adoption, or the birth experience was more intense than you’d hoped, it can take time for both of you to settle, bond, and feel safe in your new rhythm together.

That’s where infant massage comes in.
Not just a luxury or a trend—infant massage is a gentle, intentional way to help babies feel more at home in their bodies and more connected to their caregivers. As a parent, it’s a beautiful tool to build confidence, slow down, and nurture your baby in a meaningful way.

Benefits of Infant Massage

Infant massage can help:

  • Soothe fussiness and support better sleep

  • Ease gas, colic, and digestive discomfort

  • Strengthen the parent-baby bond

  • Encourage healthy attachment after adoption

  • Regulate stress and support nervous system development—especially after a NICU stay or difficult birth

  • Build your confidence and intuition as a caregiver

It’s not about doing it perfectly. It’s about presence, touch, and tuning in.

I'm Looking for 4 Families

I’m currently offering a special opportunity as I complete my infant massage educator certification through Infant Massage USA.

I’m looking for 4 families to work with me in a relaxed, supportive setting. You’ll receive:

  • Four guided sessions (once a week for 4 weeks)

  • Personalized instruction on how to safely and confidently massage your own baby

  • A space to ask questions, tune into your baby’s cues, and connect

This is by donation only (you choose the amount that feels right to you), and in exchange, you’ll provide a brief evaluation as part of my certification process.

I’m especially hoping to serve families who:

  • Had a premature baby

  • Welcomed their baby through adoption

  • Are healing after a difficult or traumatic birth

I’m still deciding whether these sessions will be in-home or in a small group class format—I'll tailor the setting based on who joins and what feels supportive.

Interested? Or Know Someone Who Might Be?

If this speaks to you—or someone you know—please reach out or pass my info along! This is a short-term, heartfelt offering to support families who need some extra gentleness and connection in the early days.

Send me a message or email [insert email or contact info here].
Let’s create a calm, connected start for your little one.

With care,
