July Artist Feature at Slate Cafe: A Celebration of Color, Emotion, and Story

I’m so excited to share that I’m the featured artist at Slate Cafe in Lititz for the month of July!

This show is especially meaningful to me — not just because it’s my first time exhibiting in a local café, owned by a childhood friend who I adore, but because every piece on the wall holds part of my own healing, reflection, and becoming. The collection includes expressive abstract paintings that explore emotion through color, movement, and texture. Some were born in silence and solitude; others came to life during women’s retreats or in the quiet hours of my own transformation.

Each painting is offered with its own title card and price, and they’re available for purchase directly at the cafe register. If a piece speaks to you, I’d be honored for it to find a home with you.

More than anything, this show is an invitation — to pause, feel, and see what rises in you as you take it in. My hope is that these paintings don’t just decorate a wall, but open a small doorway into presence.

If you’re local to Lancaster County, I’d love for you to stop by Slate Cafe, grab a coffee or tea, and take a moment to linger with the art. Bring a friend. Bring your journal. Just be.

Thank you for supporting local art, small businesses, and the vulnerable beauty of creative expression.

With love,
Angela Vale
